I’ve been doing a lot of research lately to see if switching to a different TV service would save me a little bit of moolah each month and the verdict was… Nope! Right now I pay less than $100/mo. with AT&T U-verse TV + Internet. For that price I get 4 digital receivers, 200+ channels, HD programming, DVR (record up to 4 at a time), DVR playback on all receivers, and many other neat things. Not to mention the free Wi-Fi access at any AT&T hotspot, which includes most Starbucks! We had a few issues with the feed for a while but I got it fixed a few weeks ago (bad cabling outside). My roomies say they like Dish Network better, but I have to disagree. For the price and features, I highly recommend AT&T U-Verse.

For a while, I thought the Analog to Digital switch in February ‘09 wouldn’t affect me, but I just remembered the DVD player in my car also has a TV tuner… so I guess I won’t be able to watch TV while I’m driving anymore. :-P (maybe that’s a good thing?)

The only TV shows I’ve been watching this season are Survivor: Gabon (Go Kenny!!), Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty. Everything else has become so blah~ I can’t wait for Lost to come back next year!
